COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Events, Tourism, and Hospitality Management provides a comprehensive curriculum designed to develop both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for careers in the service industry. In the first semester, students engage with core modules including Research Methods, Services Marketing for Events, Tourism and Hospitality, Strategic Planning for Event Managers, and Contemporary Issues in the Events Industry. These modules equip students with analytical, strategic, and operational skills, enabling them to understand and address challenges within the events and tourism sectors. The second semester builds on this foundation with modules such as Accounting and Finance for the Service Industry, continued Research Methods, and the PG Live Event Project, where students apply their learning to real-world event management scenarios. Optional modules, including Ethics and CSR, Event Portfolio and Destination Development, Business Analytics in Services, Designing Digital Services, and Contemporary Issues in Sustainability, allow students to tailor their studies to specific interests and career goals, providing both depth and flexibility in learning. Across the academic year, students may undertake a Dissertation or Business Plan project, enabling them to conduct independent research or develop a practical business strategy. The program combines theoretical insight, strategic planning, and practical experience to prepare graduates for dynamic roles in events, tourism, and hospitality management worldwide.
