COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Business Analytics program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with advanced skills in data analysis, statistical modelling, and business intelligence, preparing them to tackle complex challenges in today’s data-driven environment. In the first semester, students focus on core modules such as data mining and text analytics, principles of analytics, and statistics and econometrics, providing a strong foundation in extracting, processing, and interpreting large datasets. Optional modules allow students to tailor their learning towards areas such as finance, supply chain planning, or investment analysis, broadening their understanding of how analytics applies across industries. In the second semester, the program builds on these fundamentals with operational analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data visualisation, enabling students to apply advanced computational techniques to real-world business problems. Additional optional modules, including financial modelling, marketing analytics, and business process management with SAP, further enhance practical skills and industry readiness. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on integrating theory with practice, culminating in a substantial project or dissertation that demonstrates the student’s ability to apply analytical techniques to complex business challenges.
