COURSE CURRICULUM

The Accounting and Finance master's program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for a career in global finance and accounting. In the first semester, students study core topics such as Principles of Accounting, Quantitative Methods, International Auditing and Assurance, Strategic Management Accounting, International Financial Reporting, and Principles of Finance and Investment. These modules provide a solid foundation in financial principles, analytical techniques, and accounting practices, preparing students to tackle complex financial problems. The second semester builds on this foundation with continued study in International Financial Reporting, Strategic Management Accounting, Principles of Accounting, Principles of Finance and Investment, Ethics in Finance, and Cases in Accounting and Finance, emphasizing practical application and critical thinking. Students also have the opportunity to select optional modules in areas such as Derivatives Securities, Corporate Finance, International Finance, International Corporate Governance, Risk Management, and Financial Modelling, allowing them to tailor their learning to specific career interests. Across the academic years, all students undertake the International Accounting and Finance Project, a compulsory component that integrates knowledge from different modules and encourages practical problem-solving, research, and professional skills. The program equips graduates with the expertise, analytical capabilities, and ethical awareness required to excel in multinational corporations, investment firms, and other financial institutions in a complex and evolving global environment.
