COURSE CURRICULUM

The MA Acting program at Guildford School of Acting offers a structured and intensive curriculum designed to develop highly skilled and versatile actors. In the first semester, students focus on foundational performance techniques, including stage acting, screen acting, vocal technique, and movement technique. These core modules provide essential training in physical and vocal expression, character development, and performance adaptability across various media, allowing students to build confidence and precision in their craft. Throughout both semesters, students engage in rehearsal and performance modules, where they apply their technical skills in practical settings, collaborating with peers to develop productions, explore creative approaches, and refine their artistic interpretation. Complementing these performance-focused modules is the Professional Development component in the second semester, which prepares students for a sustainable career in acting. This includes training in industry practices, professional ethics, audition techniques, self-promotion, and strategies for navigating the competitive performing arts environment.
