COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Business BSc (Hons) degree provides students with a comprehensive understanding of global business operations, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience to prepare graduates for careers in an interconnected economy. In the first year, students build a strong foundation through modules covering operations management, accounting, marketing, organisational behaviour, and sustainable business practices, alongside personal and professional development and practical business data projects. In the second year, the focus shifts to international business concepts, finance, and business modelling, with opportunities to specialise through optional modules in areas such as entrepreneurship, business analytics, human resource management, and market insights. Students also engage in comparative country studies, digital business projects, and global working practices, which enhance their ability to operate in multinational contexts. The final year emphasises strategic thinking and leadership, with compulsory modules in international business strategy, project management, and global trade, while optional modules allow for further specialisation in finance, human resource management, managerial decision making, supply chain analytics, and emerging technologies such as FinTech. Throughout the program, students develop analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, culminating in a capstone applied business project or a selection of advanced modules.
