The BSc Computing with Business Management degree provides a comprehensive education combining core computing skills with essential business knowledge to prepare students for technology-driven business roles. In the first year, students develop foundational computing skills through modules in foundations of computing, data and database systems, software engineering, and object-oriented programming, while simultaneously gaining business insights through accounting for business managers and marketing. In the second year, students deepen their computing expertise with modules in artificial intelligence, further programming paradigms, computer networking, and computer security, while continuing their business education through finance, business law, and collaborative web application projects. The third year emphasizes advanced computing applications and strategic business understanding, with compulsory modules such as information security management and a professional project, complemented by optional modules including computational intelligence, internet of things, distributed systems, deep learning, natural language processing, and business analytics with data visualisation.
