COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Computer Science program provides a comprehensive education in computing principles, preparing students for careers in software development, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and related fields. In the first year, students build a foundation with modules covering computing basics, computer logic, data and database systems, data structures and algorithms, operating systems, and software engineering with object-oriented programming. This combination ensures both theoretical understanding and practical programming skills. In the second year, the curriculum advances to include artificial intelligence, advanced algorithms, further programming paradigms, computer networking, parallel computing, and computer security, alongside a collaborative web applications project that develops teamwork and real-world problem-solving abilities. The third year focuses on professional skills and advanced topics, offering a compulsory professional project alongside optional modules such as information security management, distributed systems, computational intelligence, privacy-enhancing technologies, deep learning, natural language processing, robotics, Internet of Things, and business analytics with data visualization. Students can tailor their learning according to their interests while meeting accreditation requirements, ensuring exposure to essential computing concepts and emerging technologies.
