COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Hons) Human Resource Management degree provides a comprehensive education in managing people and organisations, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to develop effective HR strategies. In the first year, students build a strong foundation with modules in Operations Management, Accounting for Business Managers, Global and Sustainable Business Management, Organisational Behaviour and Analysis, Marketing, People Practices, Business Data Project, and Personal and Professional Development, fostering analytical, managerial, and professional skills. The second year focuses on human resource expertise and business applications through compulsory modules including Human Resource Management, Finance, Business Modelling, Working in a Global Context, Business Law, Business and Organisational Psychology, and the Digital Business Project, while optional modules such as Management Information Systems, International Business, Fundamentals of Business Analytics, and Entrepreneurship & Innovation Thinking allow students to tailor their learning. In the final year, students consolidate their knowledge and practical skills with core modules in Leadership, Employment Law, Global and Contemporary Human Resource Management, Managerial Decision Making, and Work and Employment in Society, alongside the Applied Business Project, which offers hands-on experience. Optional modules in International Business Strategy, Applied Analytics, Global Financial Management, Global Trade, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and FinTech provide additional specialization. Throughout the program, students develop critical thinking, strategic decision-making, and leadership skills, preparing them for careers in HR management, consultancy, organisational development, and other people-focused roles in diverse business environments.
