COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Hons) Entrepreneurship and Digital Economy degree combines core business knowledge with practical skills in innovation, digital technologies, and business creation. In the first year, students develop a strong foundation through modules in Operations Management, Accounting for Business Managers, Global and Sustainable Business Management, Organisational Behaviour and Analysis, Marketing, People Practices, Business Data Project, and Personal and Professional Development. These modules equip students with essential analytical, managerial, and professional skills. The second year focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital business applications, with compulsory modules including Entrepreneurship and Innovation Thinking, Finance, Business Modelling, Working in a Global Context, Digital Business Project, and Digital Coding. Optional modules such as Management Information Systems, International Business, Human Resource Management, Fundamentals of Business Analytics, Capturing Market Insights, Business Law, and Corporate Finance allow students to tailor their studies. In the final year, students consolidate their knowledge and practical expertise with modules in Social Media and the Digital Economy, New Business Creation, Project Management, and Managing Digital Innovation, alongside optional modules in Leadership, Employment Law, Applied Analytics, Global Financial Management, Global Human Resource Management, Managerial Decision Making, FinTech, Global Trade, and Supply Chain Analytics. The Applied Business Project provides hands-on experience in creating and managing real-world business ventures. Throughout the program, students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, entrepreneurial skills, and digital literacy, preparing them to launch businesses, innovate within organisations, or pursue careers in consultancy, management, or digital strategy.
