COURSE CURRICULUM

The BEng Electronic Engineering with Artificial Intelligence degree equips students with a comprehensive understanding of electronic systems, computer technology, and AI applications, preparing them for careers in advanced technology industries. In the first year, students develop foundational knowledge through core modules such as electronic circuits, computer and digital logic, engineering mathematics, electrical science, and programming in C, all supported by practical laboratory sessions to enhance hands-on learning and professional skills. The second year advances these skills with modules in circuits, control and communications, engineering mathematics, computer algorithms and architecture, and electrical science, complemented by laboratory work to reinforce practical experience. Students can also tailor their learning by selecting optional modules in computer networking, computer vision and graphics, and C++ and object-oriented design. The third year emphasizes specialization and professional development, covering digital signal processing, data and internet networking, and engineering professional studies, along with optional modules in areas such as digital communications, computer vision and pattern recognition, privacy-enhancing technologies, RF and microwave fundamentals, control engineering, power electronics, digital design with VHDL, and robotics. The program culminates in a major year-long project, allowing students to apply their theoretical and practical skills to solve complex, real-world engineering problems, preparing graduates for careers in electronics, AI, communications, robotics, and related high-tech industries.
