COURSE CURRICULUM

The first year of this Computer Science MSc program provides a solid foundation in key areas essential for advanced study and professional practice in computing. It begins with a module on Computing and Operating Systems, which offers 20 credits and focuses on the fundamental concepts of computer systems, including how operating systems work, their design, and their role in managing hardware and software resources. This module ensures students develop a strong technical understanding critical for more complex subjects later in the course.Another significant component is the Software Engineering Principles and Practices module, also worth 20 credits. This module introduces students to the methodologies, tools, and best practices used in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software systems.
