COURSE CURRICULUM

The first year of this course offers a comprehensive introduction to key skills and concepts essential for a career in creative digital arts, particularly within the gaming industry. Students will develop expertise in 3D modelling for realism, enabling them to create detailed and lifelike digital assets. Alongside this, they will explore creative art style practice, which encourages experimentation with various visual approaches and aesthetics. Experimental visual storytelling is a core module that focuses on narrative techniques and innovative ways to communicate stories through digital media. The substantial Game Master Project serves as a major practical assignment, allowing students to apply their skills to a significant and immersive project, often simulating real-world studio environments. Modules on materials, lighting, and presentation further enhance students’ ability to create visually compelling and technically sound work. Professional practice and entrepreneurship prepare students for the business side of the creative industries, teaching essential skills such as self-promotion, networking, and managing creative projects.
