COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Project Management program combines essential core modules with a range of optional subjects to develop well-rounded, strategic, and analytical project managers. Core modules include Decision Making and Analysis in Projects, which focuses on critical decision-making skills and their impact on project success, and Project Management – People and Organisations, which explores leadership, teamwork, and the human aspects of managing temporary, project-based work. Project Management – Processes examines global project management frameworks and methodologies, while Project Risk Management provides a comprehensive understanding of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies. The Dissertation module allows students to conduct independent research on a project management topic of their choice, producing a 15,000-word thesis supported by workshops and supervision. Optional modules offer opportunities to tailor learning to specific career goals, covering areas such as Accounting and Finance, Data Analytics, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, Information Systems, International Corporate Social Responsibility, Managing Complexity and Global Contexts, Digital Marketing, Organisational Development, and Strategic or Operations Management. These electives enable students to deepen expertise in financial, digital, ethical, or strategic aspects of management.
