COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Analytics program provides a comprehensive understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and data-driven decision-making. Core modules include Computational Methods for Logistics, which builds algorithmic thinking and problem-solving skills through optimisation techniques, and Integrated Logistics, focusing on the coordination of material, information, and financial flows across supply networks. Principles of Supply Chain Management introduces sustainable and contemporary practices, while Simulation explores modelling approaches such as system dynamics and agent-based modelling for analysing real-world processes. Strategic Purchasing and Supply Management examines the strategic role of procurement and supply within organisations. Students also select from a range of optional modules to tailor their learning, including International Logistics, Sustainable Operations and Supply Chains, Optimisation and Decision Modelling, and Forecasting. Other options such as Project Risk Management, Behavioural Operations, and Introduction to Python enhance practical and analytical expertise. The dissertation or summer project allows students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world business challenges, often in collaboration with industry partners. By combining management science, data analytics, and sustainability principles, the program equips graduates with the skills to optimise logistics systems, manage supply chain risks, and design effective, ethical, and resilient operations for global business environments.
