COURSE CURRICULUM

The MA Digital Media program offers a comprehensive study of theory, research, and creative practice within the evolving digital media landscape. Core modules such as Critical Media Practice and Digital Media I: Critical Theory introduce students to key ideas and methods that connect theoretical understanding with hands-on media creation. Through Digital Media II: Collaborative Critical Practice, students work together to design and produce innovative digital projects, developing teamwork and creative problem-solving skills. The Final Project module enables students to pursue an independent research or practice-based project, synthesizing their learning and showcasing their expertise. Media Research and Methodologies I and II equip students with essential research techniques, critical analysis, and proposal development skills needed for advanced media study and professional work. Alongside these core modules, students can tailor their learning through a range of electives, such as Digital Cultures, Experimental Publishing, Visual Culture, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability in Business and Design. These optional modules allow exploration of areas including global marketing, creative thinking, visual display, and digital aesthetics.
