COURSE CURRICULUM

This law program offers a comprehensive and in-depth study of both foundational and specialised areas of law, designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required for a legal career. Core modules cover essential subjects such as Constitutional and Administrative Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, Land Law, Tort Law, Equity and Trusts, European Union Law, and Legal System and Reasoning, providing a strong grounding in the principles and operation of the legal system in England and Wales. Students also explore interdisciplinary and applied areas, including Environment, Sustainability and International Law, Public International Law, Employment Law, Family Law, Data Protection Law, Commercial Law, and Youth Justice. In later years, students can specialise through advanced modules such as Admiralty Law, Advanced Public International Law, Advanced Public Law, Commercial Conflict of Laws, Company Law, International Human Rights Law, Intellectual Property Law, and International Trade and Investment Law, among others. The program also emphasizes practical skills, including legal research, writing, and the completion of a dissertation, alongside opportunities to engage with law in practice through clinics, internships, and court shadowing.
