COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Business Analytics degree is a three-year program that equips students with the skills to analyze data and support effective business decision-making. In the first year, students gain foundational knowledge in spreadsheet and database analytics, programming using SAS, accounting and finance, management, marketing, and predictive and prescriptive analytics, with opportunities to enhance quantitative skills through management analysis. The second year builds on this foundation with advanced modules in data visualization, algorithmic thinking, business forecasting, simulation, consulting, and digital business models, alongside optional modules covering finance, operations, ethics, innovation, and social data analytics. Students develop technical and analytical skills while learning to apply them to real-world business contexts. In the final year, the program focuses on practical application and integration of knowledge, including modules on knowledge management, machine learning, optimization, and analytics in action, complemented by a substantial final project that allows students to conduct independent research on industry-relevant topics. Optional modules in the third year enable exploration of corporate social responsibility, strategic operations, digital marketing, project and risk management, and technological innovation. Across the degree, students gain experience with industry-standard tools, data-driven problem-solving, and ethical considerations in analytics, preparing them for careers in business intelligence, consulting, finance, and data-driven management roles.
