The Forensic Financial Analysis module provides an overview of key areas such as financial statement analysis, valuation, hidden asset identification, asset recovery, and quantifying losses arising from disasters. Audit, Governance, and Risk Management links corporate governance with fraud prevention, emphasizing fraud risk management, internal controls, and specialised forensic audit techniques alongside statutory audit skills. Research Methods in Accounting and Finance introduces students to the methodologies and techniques necessary for academic research in finance and accounting, preparing them for the dissertation component. Cyber and Digital Investigations focuses on digital forensic tools, techniques, and legal frameworks, enabling students to address cybercrime and implement mitigation strategies. Financial Crime and Expert Witness examines the role of expert witnesses in dispute resolution and explores the operations of Regional Asset Recovery Teams and Regional Organised Crime Units within relevant legal contexts. Fraud Examination teaches investigation planning, litigation processes, report writing, and specialised techniques to uncover financial fraud.
