COURSE CURRICULUM

The Criminology degree provides a comprehensive exploration of crime, justice, and societal responses across three years of study. In the first year, students are introduced to the criminal justice system, exploring crime and deviance, contemporary challenges, and the experiences of victims. Modules emphasize research skills, diversity, and professional development, preparing students for both academic and practical engagement in the field. The second year deepens understanding through the study of policing, investigative procedures, and the broader dynamics of serious, organised, and transnational crime.
