COURSE CURRICULUM

The Visual Effects and Motion Graphics program is a three-year degree designed to equip students with the technical skills, creative expertise, and professional experience needed for careers in film, television, advertising, and digital media. In the first year, students develop foundational skills through modules in contextual studies, image acquisition, concept development, motion design, visual effects, and motion production. These modules combine theoretical understanding with practical training, enabling students to explore creative ideas, develop technical competence, and understand the fundamentals of visual storytelling. In the second year, the focus shifts to professional practice and applied projects, with modules covering professional practice, critical studies, brands in motion, visual communication, and creative industries. This stage emphasizes collaboration, industry-standard workflows, and project management, preparing students for real-world creative environments. In the final year, students consolidate their learning through critical research, a minor project, professional development, a collaborative brief, and a final major project. These components allow students to demonstrate their individual creative voice, problem-solving abilities, and technical expertise while producing work that meets professional industry standards. Graduates leave the program ready to work as visual effects artists, motion graphics designers, compositors, or in other creative roles, combining technical proficiency, innovative thinking, and professional readiness to succeed in competitive creative industries.
