COURSE CURRICULUM

The Sports Business and Management program is a three-year degree designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and professional experience needed for careers in the sports industry. In the first year, students build a strong foundation through modules in academic research and study skills, sport management, promotion and marketing, sports business principles, and workplace reflection, developing both theoretical understanding and practical awareness of the sector. The second year emphasizes applied learning and professional development, with modules in project operations management, sport placement, human resource management, enterprise in sport, and digital marketing and public relations, allowing students to gain hands-on experience and industry insight. Students learn to manage projects, understand organizational dynamics, and apply business and marketing strategies within real-world sports settings. The final year focuses on advanced skills and strategic thinking, with modules in applied professional projects, strategic sports development, leadership, policy, law and governance, and business insights for sports managers. These studies prepare students to lead initiatives, understand legal and ethical frameworks, and make informed business decisions in dynamic sports environments. Throughout the program, students develop critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, combining academic knowledge with workplace experience. Graduates are well-equipped for careers in sports management, marketing, event coordination, and administration, or for further study in business and sports-related disciplines.
