COURSE CURRICULUM

The Photography program is structured over three years to develop both technical expertise and creative vision, preparing students for a professional career in the industry. In the first year, students build foundational skills in camera use, exposure, and image editing, while exploring photography’s relationship with reality, memory, identity, and storytelling. In the final year, students focus on producing a cohesive, ambitious body of work that reflects their individuality and readiness for the industry. Critical studies modules allow for the development of analytical skills through either a creative catalogue or research essay. The course concludes with high-standard publication and presentation of work, ensuring graduates are equipped with the technical, creative, and professional skills required to succeed across diverse photographic contexts, from the arts to commercial and specialist sectors.
