COURSE CURRICULUM

The Graphic Communication course provides a progressive journey through design principles, creative thinking, and industry practice, equipping students with the skills to thrive in the fast-paced world of visual communication. In the first year, students are introduced to core foundations such as graphic design principles, typography, and infographics, while also exploring social design and design revolutions to understand the cultural and historical context of the discipline. Design thinking is a key focus, encouraging innovative approaches to problem-solving and idea generation. The second year builds on these foundations with modules in branding, motion graphics, and UX design, allowing students to develop practical expertise in areas highly valued by industry. Students also gain entrepreneurial skills and experience in digital design practice, alongside research methods to prepare them for advanced projects. In the final year, the course emphasises professional readiness with a bootcamp for creative industries and participation in design competitions, giving students exposure to real-world challenges. Alongside this, they undertake a major research project and a final major project that showcases their creative vision and technical abilities. Graduates complete the program with a professional portfolio and a strong foundation to pursue careers in graphic design, branding, advertising, and digital media.
