COURSE CURRICULUM

The Real Estate and Property Management program provides students with a thorough grounding in the technical, legal, and financial aspects of property management and development. The Dissertation module offers an opportunity for independent research, where students critically review methodologies, synthesize literature, and analyze data to address knowledge gaps and draw novel conclusions. This module not only fosters academic rigor but also prepares students for future research opportunities in their careers.The Development Project – Inspection and Appraisal module allows students to apply their construction technology knowledge to a collaborative project. Through research, site visits, and professional networking, students enhance their skills in areas such as Land and Resources, Planning and Development, and Real Estate and Valuation. Construction Technology focuses on understanding how buildings and services are designed and constructed, considering the impacts of legislation and innovative materials.International Estate Management teaches students how to apply management principles to commercial property assets on a global scale. This module sharpens skills in portfolio management, helping students enhance value for both investors and users. Investment, Wealth Management, and Economics helps students master real estate economics, finance, and investment. By applying data-driven methods, students will build cash flow models, devise portfolio strategies, and effectively manage risk.Real Estate and Planning Law and Practice prepares students to confidently apply land and tenancy law principles to property projects, ensuring smooth approvals and transactions. Finally, the Valuation and Appraisal module hones students' skills in estimating property values, producing professional reports, and advising clients based on legal knowledge and RICS standards. These modules equip students with the expertise needed to succeed in the real estate and property management sector.
