COURSE CURRICULUM

The program focuses on the development of critical human resource management (HRM) skills, with a strong emphasis on strategic thinking, leadership, and understanding global HR challenges. Core modules include Professional Skills, where students critically evaluate their own professional capabilities and their impact on others in a workplace context, with a focus on people management, decision-making, and reflective practice. The Resourcing and Talent Management module explores the strategic management of people across their employment lifecycle, addressing talent management and strategic planning. The Global Employment Relations module provides students with an understanding of how employment relationships are regulated and contested globally, including the role of governments and trade unions. Business Ethics and Sustainability examines responsible business practices, exploring environmental, social, and economic challenges and how these relate to HR practices. Learning and Development - Global Perspectives gives students the opportunity to evaluate learning and development strategies within different global contexts, analyzing the impact of organizational and national forces. The Global HRM - Challenges and Debates module addresses HR policy and practices from a global perspective, including equality, diversity, and inclusion. Leadership and Change develops students' leadership capabilities necessary for managing change within diverse workforces, while Strategy and the Global Context focuses on strategic HRM and organizational strategy in an international setting. The Human Resource Management Dissertation allows students to conduct a comprehensive investigation of an HRM issue, applying research methods to produce a Master’s level dissertation. Through this program, students acquire the necessary skills to become effective HR leaders in a global business environment.
