COURSE CURRICULUM

The course offers a comprehensive exploration of advanced skills in information systems, cyber security, user experience, and web development, preparing students for professional roles in technology and research. In the "Masters Project" module, students will independently tackle a significant real-world problem, applying their analytical, technical, and research skills to produce well-reasoned conclusions backed by data. This project will culminate in both written and oral presentations that demonstrate professional and ethical considerations. The "Managing Information Systems" module focuses on business intelligence (BI) software and project management, giving students the tools to manage and critique information systems used by modern enterprises. In "Research Methods," students will develop the skills to assess various research approaches, preparing them for academic investigations in their MSc studies. The "User Experience Design" module teaches students how to apply human-computer interaction (HCI) principles to design user-friendly digital solutions, while the "Cyber Security for Information Systems" module equips them with the knowledge to address current security threats and ethical issues in information protection. Finally, the "Web Product Development and Management" module prepares students to design and manage web-based projects using the latest technologies, ensuring they can define and deliver successful web product strategies.
