COURSE CURRICULUM

This program provides a thorough grounding in engineering, combining technical knowledge with practical applications and management skills. The "Electrical Machines and Drives" module offers hands-on experience with simulations and hardware to explore the operation of electrical machines, DC and AC motors, and power transformers. Students will also investigate power electronics and the functioning of synchronous machines. The "Engineering Management, Economics and Risk Analysis" module builds essential business, ethics, and risk management skills, preparing students for leadership roles in the engineering sector. It covers creating ethical work environments, handling risk and uncertainty, and making financial decisions for engineering projects, enhancing students' commercial awareness. In the "Renewable Energy Management" module, students study the operation of various renewable energy systems, including wind, solar, and geothermal, with a focus on energy efficiency, sustainability, and the environmental and economic impact of these solutions. The "Electrical Power Systems Technology" module delves into modern electrical power networks, teaching students about systems, sub-systems, and components while evaluating stability, efficiency, and fault conditions using analytical and simulation methods. The "Sensors and Measurement Systems" module equips students with the skills to design and implement precision measurement systems, focusing on roles in process control, biomechanics, and autonomous vehicles.
