COURSE CURRICULUM

The program offers a diverse and in-depth exploration of leadership, policy, and strategy in the field of education. The "Leadership, Policy and Strategy: The Management of Educational Change" module focuses on understanding the complexities of educational leadership and reform. Students will gain insights into the policy-making process, learning about agenda-setting, implementation, and evaluation methods that drive systemic improvements. They will also explore leadership styles that motivate and empower organizations, and examine education governance across multiple levels, from institutional to global. The "Research Methods in Education" module continues to build on students' research capabilities, guiding them through the process of designing and writing their own research proposal, while focusing on strengthening their research skills, addressing ethical considerations, and compiling relevant literature and data. Meanwhile, the "Human Resource Management in Education" module equips students with strategic leadership skills tailored to diverse educational settings. It covers contemporary HR theories related to employee motivation, organizational culture change, educator identity, and wellbeing. Students will also analyze real-world case studies on recruitment, professional development, conflict resolution, and team dynamics, gaining the skills to address challenges in human resource management within education. These modules provide students with the necessary tools to manage and lead change in educational environments while strengthening their research and leadership skills.
