COURSE CURRICULUM

This set of modules is designed to equip students with cutting-edge skills in advanced computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and quantum computing, preparing them for leadership roles in the tech industry and academia. The Intelligent Data and Text Analytics module focuses on extracting valuable insights from unstructured data sources such as text, speech, and multimedia. Students will learn advanced techniques like semantic analysis and clustering algorithms to uncover hidden patterns and solve complex challenges. The Parallel Programming module offers practical experience in optimizing the performance of multi-core processors, GPUs, and supercomputers, allowing students to deliver efficient parallel programs for high-performance computing environments. In the Advanced Artificial Intelligence module, students will explore complex machine learning techniques such as adversarial learning, genetic algorithms, and advanced reasoning to handle uncertainty and unreliable data, enabling them to select appropriate AI tools for real-world business challenges. The Cloud Computing module provides hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based business solutions using the Open Nebula platform, equipping students with the practical skills needed to manage virtualized solutions in the cloud. The Quantum Computing module offers a comprehensive introduction to the interdisciplinary field of quantum computing, covering the necessary computer science, mathematics, and physics, while exploring key quantum principles such as superposition and entanglement. Finally, the Masters Project is the culmination of the program, where students independently investigate a real-world problem, applying all their acquired skills to formulate research aims, gather and analyze data, and present their findings through written reports and oral presentations. This project showcases students' ability to tackle complex problems, addressing ethical and professional considerations while preparing them for careers in academia or industry.
