This Master's program offers a comprehensive and specialized approach to developing advanced skills in the IT and network management fields.The Masters Project module allows students to showcase their technical, analytical, and research capabilities by tackling real-world problems. Whether the project involves developing innovative software or advancing theoretical knowledge, students will create clear, methodologically sound aims and collect/interpret relevant data. The culmination of this project involves both written and oral reports, highlighting the ethical and professional considerations in the chosen area, while demonstrating the ability to drive impactful projects in academia or industry.The Enterprise Network Design and Management module equips students with the skills to design and manage complex, large-scale networks for organizations. By applying a top-down approach, students will translate business objectives into tailored network architectures that balance performance, security, and usability. The module also prepares students to optimize infrastructure investments and use tools and algorithmic techniques to simplify network management while delivering client-friendly interfaces.In the ICT Configuration and Administration module, students gain expertise in configuring and administering virtualized environments and Linux systems, focusing on data network operations. Students will critically assess and apply networking theories and methodologies, gaining managerial insights into distributed computing landscapes, making them well-equipped for ICT leadership roles.The Cloud Computing module focuses on designing and deploying cloud-based solutions using the Open Nebula platform. This practical module emphasizes understanding and applying cloud computing concepts to create business applications, allowing students to develop skills essential for managing virtualized solutions in industry settings.Lastly, the Network Services and Cyber Security module deepens students' understanding of network security and management. With escalating cyber threats, students will analyze vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and apply protocols and best practices to protect critical business infrastructure. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience in server/service configuration, this module prepares students for careers in cyber security and resilient network communication systems.Each of these modules is designed to prepare students for high-level careers in network management, cloud computing, and cyber security, empowering them to solve complex problems in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
