COURSE CURRICULUM

This program provides a comprehensive blend of practical and theoretical knowledge in both construction management and Building Information Modeling (BIM), preparing students for leadership roles in the industry. The Dissertation module offers an opportunity to demonstrate independent research skills by critically analyzing methodologies, synthesizing literature, and drawing novel conclusions, equipping students for future research opportunities. In the BIM Theory and Practice module, students gain hands-on experience with BIM software to plan, monitor, and control projects, enhancing their ability to make data-driven decisions. Modelling and Interoperability in the BIM Environment extends this knowledge by focusing on integrated modeling and data sharing across project stages, fostering collaboration. The Strategic Management module sharpens students' abilities to evaluate and implement strategies in construction firms, while Construction Law, Contracts and Dispute Resolution provides essential legal knowledge, helping students navigate contracts and resolve disputes effectively. In General Management, students explore key principles like corporate responsibility, people management, and sustainable growth, preparing them for senior management roles. Finally, the Integrated BIM Projects and Corporate Management module combines technical BIM expertise with management skills, teaching students to optimize design processes, enhance interoperability, and coordinate stakeholders to add value to BIM project delivery. Together, these modules ensure students are well-equipped to lead in the evolving construction and BIM industries.
