Business in Action (30 credits) focuses on core business areas like organisational behaviour, marketing, finance, and operations, enabling students to critically evaluate decision-making processes of a real company listed on the London Stock Exchange. Global Business Environment (30 credits) explores the forces shaping global business, such as economic, political, and technological factors, and helps students analyze how globalization impacts business strategies and operations. In Strategies for Sustainability Leadership (30 credits), students delve into the social, environmental, and ethical challenges faced by businesses, developing strategies for sustainable change.The Consultancy Project (30 credits) offers students the opportunity to work as business consultants, applying their knowledge to solve real-world challenges faced by local organizations, from private firms to charities. Managing Change, Creativity and Innovation (30 credits) provides insights into fostering creativity and innovation within organizations, emphasizing the importance of change for long-term success. Specific pathways are available for students pursuing specialized interests: the Entrepreneurship and Business Venturing pathway (30 credits) helps students explore venture creation, while the Sustainable Innovation through Design Thinking pathway (30 credits) focuses on using design thinking to enhance sustainability in business. The Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation pathway (30 credits) explores AI applications in organizations, addressing issues such as privacy, security, and ethics. Additionally, students can choose the International Tourism and Hospitality Management (30 credits) pathway, focusing on destination branding and sustainable hospitality, or the Strategic Leadership in Healthcare pathway (30 credits), which addresses leadership challenges in the healthcare sector, particularly during crises.
