COURSE CURRICULUM

The program is designed to guide students through a comprehensive research process, equipping them with the necessary skills for their creative projects. In the A Question of Research module (30 credits), students build specialized research skills, choosing between qualitative or quantitative methods. The module encourages deep exploration of relevant topics, while emphasizing ethical practices and reflective writing. This prepares students to become agile and thoughtful researchers, ready to tackle exciting questions in their field.The Proposal module (30 credits) follows, where students develop a clear and compelling research proposal. Building on their initial findings, they pose interesting research questions, select appropriate methodologies, and create a detailed plan to guide their project. This module empowers students to refine their ideas and prepare for significant research or creative work, honing their independent thinking skills.The Contextual Report module (60 credits) enables students to connect their research to broader academic conversations. They write a detailed reflective report that tracks their project’s journey, from conception to completion. Through this process, students demonstrate their ability to think critically, use appropriate methodologies, and express their findings with academic precision.Finally, in the Resolution module (60 credits), students produce a significant piece of work that brings together their research and creative ideas. They execute their project proposal, applying their technical skills and intellectual insights to create original, impactful work. The module culminates in the presentation of a professional portfolio, showcasing the student’s unique perspective and readiness to contribute meaningfully to their field.
