COURSE CURRICULUM

The program consists of three modules designed to enhance your research and creative abilities. In the "A Question of Research" module (30 credits), you will develop specialized research skills that support your creative work. You'll explore different research methods, both qualitative and quantitative, while adhering to ethical guidelines. Through presentations and reflective writing, you'll discover your identity as a researcher and learn strategies that will guide your Master's study. The second module, "Exploratory Practice" (30 credits), encourages hands-on experimentation to deepen your understanding of creative processes. You'll create an ambitious project proposal that challenges conventions and pushes your conceptual thinking, evaluating various materials, methods, and sources to innovate in your field. The final module, the "Major Project" (60 credits), allows you to apply your research and creative skills in an independent, self-initiated project. Here, you'll make critical decisions regarding materials and processes while managing feedback to refine and resolve your vision. Throughout the program, you will develop into an agile and thoughtful researcher, prepared to tackle exciting questions and create original work that reflects both your creativity and academic growth.
