COURSE CURRICULUM

The Creative Context and Practice module (30 credits) is designed to help you establish the foundation for a cohesive body of work within your chosen program area. You’ll also learn to select appropriate methodologies and define research questions and aims to guide your creative process. Throughout the module, you will gain confidence in articulating and presenting your ideas through advanced discourse, ensuring that your creative work is well-grounded and clearly communicated.The Professional, Academic and Research Development module (30 credits) prepares you for success in your Master's studies and future career. This module focuses on improving essential skills like critical thinking, communication, and project management. Through seminars and one-on-one work with a personal tutor, you’ll assess your academic and professional growth needs and create an action plan to enhance skills such as presenting, researching, and contextual analysis. Additionally, you will define your career goals and strengths, gaining valuable insights that will guide your future path. The module culminates in an assignment that reflects your personal progress, leaving you with a comprehensive toolkit for academic and career success.In the Project Design and Development module (60 credits), you’ll bring your research and creative ideas to life, whether through an artefact, exhibition, performance, or academic paper. You will receive guidance to help you apply the best methods and develop original solutions for your project, preparing a standout piece for your portfolio. This module will strengthen your ability to solve complex problems and innovate, showcasing your skills as a researcher and creative professional. Finally, the Project Evaluation and Resolution module (60 credits) gives you the opportunity to refine your work further. With feedback and targeted revisions, you’ll polish your final project to professional standards, demonstrating your expertise and readiness to take on leadership roles in your field.
