COURSE CURRICULUM

The Law program provides a comprehensive education in various branches of law, with a focus on developing essential skills in legal analysis and application. In Year 1, core modules include Contract Law, Criminal Law, and Public Law, where students learn the foundational principles of these areas, develop legal arguments, and apply their knowledge to real-world issues. The module Law, Society, and Justice encourages students to explore the role of lawyers in promoting social justice, while The Art of Persuasion helps students refine their communication and argumentation skills. The English Legal System module further introduces the key concepts of the UK’s legal framework.In Year 2, students advance their legal understanding with modules such as Equity and Trusts, where they analyze legal principles related to trusts and equity, and Land Law, which covers property and land law principles. Legal Writing and Research hones students' research and writing skills, and Human Rights Law builds on the knowledge gained in Public Law, focusing on human rights protection within UK law, particularly through the European Convention on Human Rights.In Year 3, students take European Union Law, which explores the legal principles and policies of the European Union. This program prepares students for a wide range of legal careers by equipping them with critical knowledge and skills necessary for legal practice, research, and social justice advocacy.
