The combined Law and Business program provides a comprehensive exploration of key areas in law, business operations, and management, preparing students for leadership roles in both fields. In Year 1, core modules such as Business Operations and Systems Management and Contract Law offer a foundational understanding of operations management and the legal principles that underpin contracts. Criminal Law and Public Law introduce students to criminal and constitutional law, while Managing People in Organisations (Law) focuses on the challenges of managing diverse teams and understanding ethical and cross-cultural issues.In Year 2, students dive deeper into specialized areas like Equity and Trusts and Land Law, while Leadership, Ethics, Governance and Sustainability encourages critical thinking about ethical leadership and corporate responsibility. The Legal Writing and Research module strengthens students' research and writing skills, and Human Rights Law builds on public law, focusing on the protection of human rights. Strategy for Lawyers prepares students to lead within the legal industry, analyzing strategic management and offering solutions to real-world challenges.In the final year, students engage with practical modules such as Business Law, accredited by the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx), and Managing Equality and Diversity at Work, which explores workplace inclusion and diversity. These modules, alongside the development of professional skills in managing legal issues within business contexts, equip graduates to thrive in the dynamic intersection of law and business leadership.
