COURSE CURRICULUM

In Year 1, students focus on core modules such as Critical Thinking and Professional Identity (40 credits), which sharpens essential academic and professional skills including writing, research, and public speaking. The Global Development module (20 credits) explores international development, examining organizations working to reduce inequality and conflict globally. The The Making of the Global South (20 credits) module delves into the history and challenges faced by regions such as Africa, Latin America, and South Asia, while also addressing global issues like political violence and social movements.In Year 2, students deepen their focus with specialized modules like Climate Crises (20 credits), which explores the global climate change movement and its social justice implications. The Geopolitics and Geo-Economics of Africa (20 credits) module examines Africa’s role in global power structures, focusing on geopolitical issues, resource control, and economic development.Year 3 is a transformative experience, as students embark on a Study Abroad (120 credits), immersing themselves in a new culture while improving language skills and gaining a global perspective.
