Critical Contexts examines the theoretical frameworks surrounding theatre and performance. The Musical Theatre Laboratory provides a creative space for experimenting with new ideas and performance styles. Musical Theatre Skills enhances your technical abilities, while Performance Histories looks at the historical development of performance practices, particularly in musical theatre.Year 3 culminates with more specialized modules. Alternative Theatres explores innovative and non-traditional forms of theatre. Applied Theatre for Young Audiences examines performance for younger demographics, providing both creative and practical skills. Forming a Company focuses on collaborative practice and setting up professional theatre companies. The Major Academic Project allows you to engage deeply with an area of interest through research or creative work. Finally, Theatre Studies and Industries looks at the relationship between theatre studies and the professional theatre industry, preparing you for post-graduation career opportunities.
