COURSE CURRICULUM

This BA (Hons) Marketing degree provides a structured and professionally focused three-year learning journey designed to build strong marketing knowledge, creative ability and industry-ready skills. In Year 1, students develop essential foundations through modules in business accounting, consumer insights, digital content creation, professional awareness, people management and core marketing principles, helping them understand how organisations operate and how marketing influences consumers and business decisions. Year 2 builds on this knowledge with a stronger industry emphasis, covering creative communications, digital marketing, marketing communications, branding and international marketing, alongside a dedicated marketing research project. These modules help students develop strategic thinking, analytical ability and practical campaign planning skills. In Year 3, study becomes more specialised and career-focused with core modules in advertising, transformative marketing and business-to-business marketing, encouraging students to apply advanced concepts to real-world contexts. Students can tailor their final year through optional pathways, choosing from work-based learning, a consultancy project, a dissertation or further strategic marketing study, depending on their career goals.
