It also highlights the relationship between development practices and global capitalism. The "Key Themes in International Relations" module provides a comprehensive introduction to IR, covering themes such as war, peace, sovereignty, and diplomacy, and encourages critical thinking about the global issues shaping today’s world. The "Political Thought" module delves into key political theories, helping students understand the philosophical debates about human nature, rights, liberty, justice, and governance. Lastly, "The Making of the Global South" module focuses on the historical and social factors that have shaped the Global South and its ongoing struggles with development challenges, offering a critical analysis of the dynamics between the Global North and South. In the second year, modules like "International Thought" and "Bending the Truth A Little?
