COURSE CURRICULUM

The Geopolitics and Geo-Economics of Africa module (20 credits) explores Africa's role in global power structures, examining issues such as resource control, human security, and economic development.Year 3 offers a critical examination of development aid through the Rethinking Aid and Development module (20 credits). Students assess the historical roots and ongoing impact of foreign aid on global poverty and explore alternative approaches to economic development, focusing on trade, social enterprise, and critical race theory.
