COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum is structured over three years. Year 1 introduces core principles: Introduction to English Legal System, Constitutional Law, Law of Contract, and Law of Torts, alongside skills modules in legal research and writing. Year 2 builds on foundations with Criminal Law, Land Law, Equity and Trusts, and European Union Law, plus options like Human Rights Law or Family Law. Year 3 focuses on advanced topics: Law of Evidence, Company Law, and a dissertation or independent project. Optional modules may include International Law, Medical Law, or Intellectual Property Law. Throughout, students participate in practical activities such as mock trials and case studies to apply theoretical knowledge. Assessment methods include exams, essays, presentations, and portfolios. The program ensures alignment with Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board requirements for QLD status.
