COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum is structured over three years. Year 1 introduces foundational modules like Introduction to Film Studies, Film Form and Analysis, and Hollywood Cinema. Students learn basic film theory and criticism. Year 2 builds on this with modules such as World Cinema, Genre Studies, Documentary Film, and Film and Society, including options in screenwriting or film production. Year 3 focuses on advanced topics like Contemporary Cinema, Film Theory, Independent Research Project, and specialized electives such as Horror Film or Gender in Film. Assessment includes essays, presentations, exams, and a dissertation. The program integrates practical workshops and screenings to enhance understanding of film techniques and narratives.
