COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum spans three years. In Year 1, students study foundational modules like Introduction to English Literature, Literary Forms, and Critical Reading. Year 2 builds on this with topics such as Romanticism, Victorian Literature, Shakespeare, and Modernism, including optional modules in American Literature or Gothic Studies. Year 3 involves advanced seminars on Contemporary Literature, Literary Theory, and a dissertation project. Students may choose electives like Postcolonial Literature, Women's Writing, or Eco-Criticism. Assessment includes essays, presentations, exams, and creative projects.
