COURSE CURRICULUM

The Software Engineering Masters is structured around a set of compulsory modules that build advanced technical knowledge, research skills, and practical expertise, alongside optional modules that allow students to tailor their studies. Core modules include Mobile Web Component Development, which focuses on designing and implementing applications for modern mobile and web platforms, and Big Data Analytics, which equips students with the skills to manage, analyze, and interpret large-scale data for real-world applications. Advanced Topics in Software Engineering explores current challenges and innovations in the field, while Machine Learning introduces the principles and techniques of intelligent systems, preparing students to apply AI-driven solutions. Research Methods provides the foundation for academic inquiry and supports preparation for the Dissertation, an independent project that allows students to demonstrate their ability to design, implement, and evaluate a significant software-related solution or research study. In addition to these compulsory modules, students can choose from optional modules such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) for Information Systems, which examines usability and design for interactive technologies, or Security Operations and Assurance, which addresses cybersecurity and system resilience.
