COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Finance and Sustainability course is structured to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of both finance and sustainable business practices, preparing them for careers in sustainable finance, corporate strategy, and related fields. The compulsory modules cover essential knowledge and practical skills that are critical for professional success. Management Skills for Finance Professionals develops leadership, communication, and organisational abilities necessary for effective decision-making in complex business environments. Sustainable Strategy and Sustainability Frameworks, Disclosures and Analytics focus on integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into corporate planning, strategy, and reporting, enabling students to drive positive change and create long-term value for stakeholders. Corporate Financial Management and Corporate Financial Reporting provide a deep understanding of financial principles, reporting standards, and strategic financial planning, equipping students to analyse financial information and support informed decision-making. Business Statistics and Forecasting develops quantitative and analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and apply statistical methods to financial and sustainability challenges. Students may also choose an optional Dissertation or Applied Project, allowing them to undertake independent, research-based work or practical projects that synthesise their learning and address real-world problems.
