COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Computer Science is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in advanced computing, blending theoretical foundations with practical applications to prepare them for a range of professional roles in the computing industry. The program includes core compulsory modules such as Algorithms and Applications, Research Methods, and a Dissertation, which ensure that students develop strong analytical, technical, and research skills. In addition to these core modules, students select four optional modules from a variety of specialized areas, including Theory of Computation and Complexities, Distributed Computing, Mobile Web Component Development, Deep Learning, Advanced Data Science and Visualisation, Big Data Analytics, Fundamentals of Cyber Security, and Managing Innovation and Change, allowing them to tailor their studies to individual interests and career goals. Supporting modules such as Programming Support provide essential technical training, Employability Skills and Employment supports internship students in career preparation, and Learning and Professional Development is compulsory for international students to aid their academic and professional integration.
