COURSE CURRICULUM

This three-year music management program is structured to give students a comprehensive understanding of the music industry, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. In the first year, students focus on the foundations of the live music sector, exploring the creative industries, management principles, club promotion, and the legal aspects of music through contracts and law. They also participate in interactive simulations like the Music Business Game to develop real-world business acumen. The second year builds on this foundation with modules designed to advance career readiness and professional skills, covering topics such as career strategies, record labels, music distribution, tour management and production, brand development, research methods, and music publishing. By the final year, students are expected to integrate their learning through hands-on and strategic projects, including a Music Management Project, digital marketing strategies, festival studies, and insights into the broader music industry. The program culminates with portfolio development, preparing students to present a professional body of work that reflects both their practical and academic competencies, equipping them for successful careers in music management and related fields.
