COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Business Studies with Entrepreneurship course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of business principles while focusing on developing practical entrepreneurial skills. In the first year, students build a solid foundation in management, professional skills, business finance, and real-world problem analysis, alongside opportunities to enhance employability. The second year expands this knowledge with modules on enterprise and business development, advanced communication, organisational behaviour, leadership, and collaborative business projects, enabling students to apply theory to practical situations and develop teamwork and negotiation skills. In the final year, the course emphasises strategic management, career planning, and sustainability, while giving students the chance to specialise in entrepreneurship through modules on start-ups and a substantial start-up project. This structure ensures students gain a thorough understanding of the contemporary business environment and are prepared to develop their own ventures or contribute innovatively within existing organisations. Throughout the degree, the program integrates theoretical learning with practical application, encouraging students to cultivate creativity, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
